Do you know where I am now? I’m in the plane to Paris at the moment.
I’ve already been flying for 2.5 hours, and I’m going to be in Paris in an
hour. Probably our plane is somewhere above Germany now. It seems like the
weather is quite good here. It isn’t too cloudy here. The sun is shining
brightly, and, what I like most, there isn’t any snow here. Nor will it be in
Paris. I can see some fields, villages and a river (perhaps it’s Reihn) beneath
me. I’ve been to Paris many times recently, because my friends are living there
at the moment. So, my family and I visit them a couple of times a year. We’re
going to stay at the flat they’re living in. It’s Friday now and I’m going to
be back in Moscow at Monday evening.
As for Paris, it’s a nice city. There’re lots of places of interest here,
and many things are very beautiful there. However, I can’t say that I adore a
non-touristic part of Paris. Nor do I like the atmosphere of this city. It’s
hard to explain… People are rude there.
Everybody is shouting there; people drive fast and carelessly. For me Paris is
not a lovely and romantic city everybody thinks it is. Of course, it doesn’t
mean I don’t adore such marvelous places as Notre Dame de Paris, Eifel tower or
Versailles (Versailles is actually in the suburbs of Paris). I just want to say
that in Paris there are some places that are not so pleasant as the most
popular tourist attractions. There are also some places which are not so popular,
but also very nice. Monceau park or
So, our
plane has already landed and now I’m in Paris. I hope I will enjoy these three days. See you
next week!

Your post about Paris made me to remember about several of my trips to France.
ОтветитьУдалить4 years ago I went to France to the language school called Red lief. It was my first summer trip to France. I have never visited it in June or July before, so all the hidden beauties of France were new and astonishing for me. The most important from that trip was the expirience of visiting "chateaus". It was the first time when I saw such monumental and spellbinding. High towers and thick walls were decorated with special ornaments which shined on the sun unusually. I will never forget about the image of the castles in France.
So, what is your opinion about my passion to french castled. Do you agree that it is much more interesting to visit castles or old villages than have a trip into noisy and agressive Paris?
