What do you think about Internet shops? Do you find them useful? Do you personally use them? Do you think they will replace real ones? (Ksenya's topic #2)
I've been using internet shops for quite a long time. To be exact, my family does. I remember that almost all my life if I wanted my parents to buy me something all I have to do is to chose what I like and the send my dad a link to the internet page of this thing. So, all he had to do is to click "add to basket" and to place an order. It was very convinient for all of us because I didn't have to go somewhere far away to seek for what I need, and it was very easy for my parents too because it took a couple of minutes.
Now I have my own credit card and e-money, so there's no need for me to bother my parents every time I want to buy something. Well, sometimes I have to do, if I want to buy something expencive, acoustic system, for instance. By the way, a few years ago everything became even easier. Since then I don't have to bother my parents, even if I have to buy something expencive. The reason is that now I can write to buy parent's job assistant who can organize everything herself. I just have to send my parents the copy of the email with the request to buy something.
I always found internet shops very conviniet, especially because I'm quite lazy, and I don't like doing unnecessary things, such as going miles from nowhere to buy some small cheap thing. I think that there weren't any internet shops in Moscow, I wouldn't buy the majority of thing I've bought))
Of course, there're some disadvantages of internet shops as well. First is that sometimes you can get a reject (a broken or bad thing). Well, I can say that it's also true for the offline shops. Another disadvantage (the only reasonable for me) is that sometimes you have to go to the offline shop in order to see the product, to touch it, to try it, etc. For example, when I had to buy a drum set this autumn, I had to go to Mayakovskaya (it's not too far away) to see it, to talk with the manager, and so on. I can say that music shop is a special thing, which will never be raplced by internet shops because there's a special atmosphere there. You know, there lots of cool intruments there, and you can play them and chat with shopmen. Music shop guys are really cool!
All in all, I can say that, except for music shops and some other special shops, offline shops might be replaced by the online ones.
