4. Plans after graduation in 2016 (Ruslan topic #2)

Your plans for the time after graduation in 2016: are you going to continue studying (where?) or to try to find a job (what job?)

If I'll survive through the whole 4 years of HSE-NES I'd graduate in 2016 and... And what..? What I'm gonna do after getting a bachelor diploma has always been a difficult question for me. I faced the same problem at high school, when I didn't know what profession I should study for and what university and faculty I should go to. I've made the decision at the supreme moment when it was already summer and I had to decide what university to entoll at. What is the most interesting, the first time I started thinking about NES was in July 2012, 3 days before enrolling there. Oh, now I feel I'm writing on topic I don't have to.

So, 3,5 years later I'l probably be in the same situation. I can't say that I like studying too much, but now I suppose I'll continue studying after bachelor graduation.  Funnily enough, I haven't yet decided whether I'll study for economist or not. Probably I'll study some 'semi-economic' disciplines, such as neuroeconomics or something else. Perhaps, I'll study economics as a science. Or maybe I'll give up economics (who knows?). Perhaps, I'll go studying somewhere abroad (UK I think). Anyway, I think what I have to do is study maths, which could be applied to lots of sciences and things.

There's also another way: forget about books and notebooks and start working. Welll, it sounds good, but not too realistic. The thing is that I'm interested more in economics as a science than in its practical usage. Business analyst, accountant, financier – all this doesn't attract me too much.

Anyway, all my nice fantasies may be fulfilled only if I graduate from HSE-NES. Therefore, I have to stusy now in order to achieve my dreams. Bye!

P.S. Sorry for posting this blog a bit late

  1. I thought that I am the only one such xD. I've first heard about our department in July, and I've chosen it in August.
What about future career, I believe that it would be better if you continue studying - NES offers a nice opportunity to go to PhD to one of the best universities all over the world. I believe that nobody should miss it.
