3.First semester results evaluation (Ivan Mozharov topic #2)

Honestly, I'm tired of talking about studying and grades all the time, and I think that there're lots of more interesting thing in life. But anyway, I'd like to write about my first semster results beacause I was thinking about it involuntarily for a while.

On the one hand, I'm quite satisfied with my rating position. However, I believe that rating is not an important thing. I mean, the number standing near my name in some weird list doesn't seem to make any sense. But still, if I've been trying hard during the whole semester I don't wanna see my name at the very bottom of the list. I'm the 30th in the rating list (there're 58 students at NES BAE'16), which sounds quite good for me. It's the very middle of the rating, which means that I'm a random average student of HSE-NES)) During the sesmster I thought I'd be something like 55th because I didn't have any success in studying for some period. So, number 30 was a pleasant surpise for me.

On the other hand, I'm not really satisfied with my own results. I mean, I could do much better if I triend just a little bit harder and if I was luckier. For example, if I had 0.04/10 more for calculusm I'd have 6, and if I did a little better at the biology test, I'd have 10. As far as I know, I was very close to 8 for english, and I could get 9 for anthropology. What disappointed me most is calculus because I think that I understand it quite well. The thing is that I almost failed the exam beacuse of some small stupid mistakes.

Anyway, 1st semester is through, and now it's time to think about 2d one.
